10/18: LAKE OSWEGO REVIEW GIVES THEIR ENDORSEMENT TO DAN!
Welcome to our website
I am running for city council because citizens have become increasingly concerned regarding important issues including housing density, debt and the future direction of our beautiful city. I recognize that we are at our best as a community when we listen to and respect each other. I will work to enable us to become stronger together.
Experienced Leadership
My years of service on the budget committee have shown me that there are areas in which council leadership can be improved. I am committed to working together to regain citizen confidence in the council decision making process. As a Lake Oswego City Councilor, I will work with my fellow citizens to bring clarity and balance to our city government.
Strong on Schools!
My
wife Elisa and I moved to Lake Oswego when we got married 22 years ago. A major reason for choosing Lake Oswego as the place to start our family was the exceptional community support of the schools. Today, we have two daughters, one currently in 5th grade who was relocated from Bryant to River Grove, and one who is currently a sophomore at Lakeridge High School. I share the concern of most parents regarding the continuing funding challenges, and corresponding decisions of LOSD. My years of service on the Lake Oswego Citzens’ Budget Committee have provided a clear perspective on city operations and how specific areas of partnership between the City and LOSD could be mutually beneficial. For information on one of Dan’s ideas to strengthen both the city and LOSD, please clickon the link below to the Lake Oswego Review article.
